Samantha Johnson is a member of Herbert Geer’s planning, government, infrastructure and environment group in the Brisbane office. Samantha is a multidisciplinary lawyer who specialises in planning, infrastructure, government, environmental and property development law. Samantha has extensive experience in the management of the development approvals process for major infrastructure and property projects.

Samantha has worked with significant Queensland local governments and major development corporations, providing advice in respect of planning, governance, infrastructure and environment matters. In 2009, Samantha was appointed by the Queensland Department of Infrastructure and Planning as a General Referee for the Building and Development Committee. Samantha is also the Zone 5 Representative on the Executive of the Australian Local Government Women’s Association (Queensland Branch).
