We have acted for landlords and tenants involved in retail leasing in major shopping centres and large industrial business parks, which gives us a unique understanding of each parties’ requirements. We have been involved in the development and negotiation of complex agreements for lease and airport leases, and we regularly advise on lease disputes.
We have negotiated settlements on behalf of landlords and assisted with the termination of leases by re-entry for non-payment of rent and other breaches. We have also advised major tenants in relation to the interpretation of maintenance obligations and clauses that give rise to rent concessions to the tenant.
