Ian Wright is a member of Herbert Geer's planning, government, infrastructure and environment group in the Brisbane office. Ian has advised the State government, significant local governments and major development corporations on planning, government and infrastructure related matters. Ian specialises in planning, infrastructure, government, environmental and property development law.

Ian is a multidisciplinary lawyer with qualifications in law, planning and geography, and is a lecturer in environmental law and assessment in the Faculty of Built Environment and Engineering at the Queensland University of Technology since 1993. Ian has published more than 100 papers on planning, government and infrastructure related matters and is the Queensland editor of the Environmental Law Reporter.
