Bill has a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and Bachelor of Science (Mathematics and Physics).  He is a graduate of the Williamson Community Leadership Program.  Bill joined Herbert Geer in 2001 having had extensive experience in the legal and corporate sectors including a period as the Head of Structured Finance (Melbourne) for Bankers Trust. Bill is currently the Managing Partner for the firm. Areas of expertise:

• corporate advisory and major transactions
• mergers and acquisitions
• advice on the Corporations Act
• law firm management

Bill’s background in management and investment banking gives him an added perspective in providing corporate and commercial advice.  He has acted for a wide range of clients across many industry sectors including State and Federal government, tertiary education, corporate and non profit.
