A Partner since 2000, Noel has extensive experience in the insurance field and has practised in this area since the late 1980’s. He joined Herbert Geer in 1988 and prior to this was a Judge’s Associate with the Australian Conciliation and Arbitration Commission.
Noel is based in the Employer Services team and provides key specialist services in:
- WorkCover
- occupational health and safety
- risk and claims management
- employment law
He advises the Victorian WorkCover Authority, major employers, insurance companies and self insured corporations. Noel prepares regular updates for clients particularly on Occupational Health & Safety issues.
Noel has considerable litigation experience both from a Trial and Appellate perspective. He is also a skilled negotiator, and has successfully managed many complex, multi-party disputes in the superior Victorian jurisdictions.
